I like both distorted and “clean” electric guitar sounds in music, but I think I tend to especially appreciate recordings which use fuzz or wah effects. I appreciate the electric guitar for its variable timbre, which can change considerably with factors such as the settings of the amplifier, any effects pedals that are used, how the guitar is played, and the qualities of the instrument itself.
